A new video by
Potato Puppet Playhouse about
LYING
Are you concerned about the fact that to many children lying is a way of life?
Are you concerned that young, impressionable children have fewer and fewer role models for learning about morals and ethics?
We are too; that's why we have presented puppet shows since 1981 on a variety of topics ranging from self-esteem and lying to anger and disabilities. Twenty scripts help children, parents and teachers deal with some very difficult topics. We're pleased to tell you about our first video on the most frequently requested puppet show: lying.
When occasional tall tales become everyday lies,
there's a problem.
Lying is effectively addressed through puppetry.

Children's Resource Center has visited hundreds of child care centers
to find
boys and girls
in front of television sets watching programs that have no redeeming value--just
the opposite in many cases.
Young children often become agitated, fearful
and aggressive after viewing some TV shows and videos.
Now, we're pleased to
introduce our newest addition: DON'T CRY WOLF, the timeless story of a little boy who learned the consequences of
lying, skillfully presented by children for children. This
delightful 15 minute puppet show with music and graphics is just long enough to keep the attention of young children.
